Assignments have been upgraded with a more intuitive interface, including key actions accessible at the top of the screen and a sticky footer for easy access to bulk actions. Teachers can now set default grade types and scales, and configure automatic resubmissions, allowing students to retry assignments without manual intervention.

4. Multimedia Enhancements

Users can now create short screen recordings directly within the TinyMCE text editor, making it easier to incorporate multimedia elements into course content. This feature supports the inclusion of diverse instructional materials, catering to various learning styles.

5. Personalised Notifications

Moodle 4.5 introduces notifications for upcoming and overdue assignments, as well as alerts for quizzes about to open. These timely reminders assist students in managing their schedules effectively and staying on track with their coursework.

6. Quiz and Gradebook Improvements

Teachers now have the ability to regrade selected questions within a quiz and manage question bank categories more efficiently through drag-and-drop functionality. The gradebook has been enhanced to allow bulk insertion and editing of grades, simplifying the grading process.

7. Badges and Cohorts Management

The badge system now offers a smoother workflow and supports the inclusion of duplicate badges within a course, enhancing the gamification of learning. Additionally, administrators can select and delete cohorts in bulk, streamlining user management tasks.
