CMI FAQs
Who are your courses for?
Anyone in your organisation, including senior managers, or even your CEO. They can be a new joiner or someone who has been in the organisation for over two decades.
We have programmes that target new or aspiring managers (Level 3), middle managers (Level 5) and senior leaders (Level 7).
Are you partnered with CMI?
Yes! We are a proud Chartered Management Institute (CMI) strategic delivery partner. All our courses are accredited by the CMI.
What time commitment will I need?
Our programmes typically last for two years, and you will need to dedicate about six hours per week to focus on improving and developing your leadership and management skills.
Will I earn a CMI certification?
At the end of our programmes, following successful assessment and moderation, you will receive a Certificate from the CMI.
Can I apply for Chartered Manager status?
Depending on the specific course you choose (the level, plus whether it is an Award, Certificate, or Diploma – you may be able to gain Foundation Chartered Manager (fCMgr) Chartered Manager (CMgr) status. Interested to know more? See our related guide.
Do you have a leadership framework?
Yes. Our leadership courses provide a transformative experience covering essential leadership and management areas, from self-awareness and emotional intelligence to strategy and innovation.
This is achieved through the Accipio C30 leadership framework. C30 stands for the 30 capabilities that all managers need to become successful.
Can anyone apply for your courses?
Absolutely! We are open to enquiries from anyone – individuals, groups, companies, departments, teams, etc. Our ongoing open programme is designed perfectly for individuals to join at any time.
When do your programmes start?
Our programmes run on a rolling basis, so you can join at any time of the year from month-to-month. This gives you the greatest amount of flexibility, allowing you to begin your programme around your availability.
What does an 'open programme' mean?
Our open programme means you join a group of learners, at your apprenticeship level, from different organisations and backgrounds, where you can share best practices and learn new skills from your group sessions.
Can I do my course remotely?
Yes! So long as you are UK-based, you can complete an entirely remote course. That is the standard for our open programmes, to maintain flexibility. However, we can also offer in-person sessions to closed cohorts from individual organisations.
As an manager, can I enrol a closed cohort of learners exclusively from my organisation?
Absolutely! So long as you have a sufficient amount of learners, that the cohort can be viable, then we can run a programme exclusively for learners from your organisation. We can also tailor training programs to address the skills shortages in your workplace.
